Mohamed Hadid was formerly the most significant single owner of the Ritz Carlton Hotels, with properties in Aspen, Colorado; Washington, DC; Houston, Texas; and New York.

During the 1980s, he was responsible for developing over seven million square feet of commercial office buildings in the greater Washington DC area, with a total value estimated to be more than US $2.7 billion.

Today, he is working on the awe-inspiring Skyline Project in Cairo, Egypt, a self-contained community featuring the world’s largest residential building.
